This annual event brings together local, regional, and national experts in Maternal Infant Health. The goal is to maximize participant knowledge and skills, share best practices, promote collaborative opportunities, and provide actionable next steps for attendees. The summit is dedicated to highlighting the collaborative relationships needed to improve maternal and infant health outcomes. Presentations will showcase innovative ways to advance healthy births through enhancements in quality of care, promoting best practices, expanding access, and providing resources and support to families.
Call for Presentations - Submission deadline: Midnight, January 16, 2026.
Due to the popularity of this event, incomplete proposals or those submitted after the due date may not be considered for the 2026 Maternal Infant Health Summit but may be kept on file for consideration next year.
Please note:

All sessions will be in-person at Saginaw Valley State University you must be able to present in-person in University Center, MI.

Preference will be given to presentations that provide clear actionable steps, strategies, and innovative solutions to improve birth outcomes.

Preference will be given to presentations that highlight community voices, have strong collaborations, include people with lived experience, and have evidence showing advancements in maternal and infant health.

Interactive sessions, panels, and hands-on activities are encouraged.

Presenters will be notified on February 20, 2026 if their proposal was accepted.
